Precision in Every Step

Cross-cut Test

The cross-cut test checks the adhesion strength of the coating on the color coated aluminum coil. A grid is cut into the surface of the PPAL sample, then adhesive tape is applied and removed to see if the coating stays in place. Strong adhesion guarantees that the aluminum coil coating will not peel or flake during use or processing.

Cross-cut Test

Color Difference

For each color coated aluminum coil, we carry out a color difference test to make sure the appearance is uniform across the whole batch. Using a color meter, we measure the ΔE value between the PPAL surface and the approved color sample. We control the color difference within ΔE0.3, so the aluminum coil matches precisely with design requirements and other materials in the project. This strict control ensures visual consistency and a premium finish.

MEK Test

The MEK solvent rub test evaluates cure and solvent resistance of the PPAL coating on the aluminum coil. A cloth wetted with MEK is rubbed a fixed number of times, and the surface is checked for softening, color transfer, or film removal. Solid performance means the color coated aluminum coil can tolerate routine cleaning and minor chemical contact. It also indicates a well-cured film with stable gloss and color in use.

Reverse Impact

Reverse impact strikes the panel from the back side to stress the PPAL coating from underneath, combining a check of flexibility and adhesion. After impact, we inspect the coated face of the aluminum coil for cracking, star fractures, or delamination. Passing this test indicates the color coated aluminum coil can tolerate tight forming and unexpected knocks during processing. It also reduces the chance of paint lift at corners and cutouts.

Coating Thickness

For every aluminum coil, we verify the paint film thickness with precise gauges to confirm it meets the target specification and tolerance. A uniform layer on the color coated aluminum coil creates a stable barrier against corrosion and keeps the color looking even across the sheet. This control also helps the PPAL coating maintain performance during forming and fabrication. Consistent thickness reduces rework, improves yield, and supports long-term appearance in service.

T-bend Test

The T-bend test folds the color coated aluminum coil back onto itself to assess flexibility and coating adhesion under tight bends. A sound PPAL system will show no cracking or peeling at the bend edge, even at small radii. This gives fabricators confidence when hemming, folding, or deep drawing parts. Reliable T-bend results reduce scrap and keep forming operations stable.

after-sales Services

Every coil we ship carries our quality promise.

Problem Resolution

If any issue occurs after delivery-such as coating defects, color inconsistency, or packaging damage-we respond promptly. Our team works with you to identify the root cause, arrange technical inspection if needed, and provide solutions such as replacement, adjustment in future orders, or process guidance.

Sample Archiving for Color Matching

We keep sealed coil samples from every batch we produce for export. This allows us to match colors accurately in your future orders, ensuring consistency between different shipments of color coated aluminum coil. This archive system is especially important for large or phased construction projects.

Technical Support for Storage and Processing

We offer clear, practical guidelines on how to store PPAL in your warehouse, handle coils during fabrication, and protect the surface from damage before installation. This helps you maintain the original quality from delivery to final use.

Continuous Follow-up

We stay connected with our customers long after delivery. Whether it's weeks or years later, our after-sales team is always available to answer questions, provide technical guidance, and share recommendations for new applications. You can reach us easily by email, phone, or online meetings, ensuring fast and clear responses across time zones.
