1000 series, 3000 series, and 5000 series painted aluminum coils have different applications because of the different alloy elements added and different performance.

1000 series(1050,1100,1060 aluminum alloy)
1000 series color coated aluminum coil, the content of aluminum more than 99.00% aluminum, It has good electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance and welding performance, but low strength and cannot be heat-treated and strengthened. 1000 series aluminum coil is suitable for building exterior wall cladding that requires good formability and high corrosion resistance but does not require high strength. Common applications are aluminum sheets for sandwich panels and honeycomb panels

3000 series(3003,3004,3105 aluminum alloy)
3000 series color coated aluminum alloy coil is a commonly used rust-proof aluminum. It uses manganese as the main alloying element with the content of 1.0-1.5% and has good formability, welding,corrosion resistance and its strength is higher than 1000 series. It is mainly used in ceiling and the roof panels of public buildings in harsh environments with high requirements for corrosion and rust resistance.

5000 series(5052 aluminum alloy)
The main alloying elements of 5000 series color coated aluminum alloy coil are Al-Mg, and the magnesium content is between 3-5%. It has high tensile strength, easy coloring, good heat dissipation, high elongation, excellent processing and forming performance, welding performance, etc. Its corrosion resistance and compression resistance are stronger than those of 3000 series. It is suitable for public building with very high requirements for corrosion resistance.
