Products Process of Coated Aluminum Coil
The coating process is the most critical process in the production of color-coated aluminum coils, which directly affects the quality of coated aluminum coils and the durability of the coating. The role of each process is indispensable.
Uncoil
This role of this process is to detect whether there are defects on the surface of the aluminum coil and cut off the defective sheets to ensure the flatness and smoothness of the coated aluminum coil
Entry Looper
The entry looper can accumulate aluminum coils. When the next aluminum coil needs to be painted, it will be stitched between the two aluminum coils and the production line does not need to be stopped
Pre-treatment
Before coating, aluminum coils need to be cleaned with alkali to remove surface impurities, then repeatedly sprayed with fresh water to remove chemicals and then coated with passivation liquid to enhance the adhesion of the coating.
Primer Coating
The uniformity of primer coating directly affects the adhesion of the coating. Primer coating is commonly used PE coating. HDP and PVDF coating can also be selected according to customer needs.
Oven Baking
The curing temperature is set according to the coating thickness of the color coated aluminum coil, generally set at 190â-230â. It is worth noting that during curing, technicians need to observe the curing of the aluminum coil in real time and adjust it in time
Top Coating
Customers choose coating type and coating thickness based on the application project and environment of colored aluminum coils. PE coating thickness ≥18um, HDP coating thickness ≥20um, PVDF coating thickness ≥25um
Exit Looper
When the operator packs the finished color coated aluminum coil, only the exit part will stop, leaving enough time for the operator to pack and ensure the continuous operation of the production line.
Recoil
Before recoiling, it is necessary to confirm that the surface of the color coated aluminum coil has no defects, the color is consistent with the customer sample and the color difference is within the standard range to ensure that each color coated aluminum coil meets customer requirements.

The common thickness of aluminum coil is 0.2-2.0mm and the width is 1000-1300mm. We can customize different thickness, width and length according to customer application requirements. If customers need it, we can also provide slitting and strip cutting services.
Packaging customization
