The average price of SMM A00 aluminum fluctuated around CNY20,600/Mt in March. Aluminum Price trend: When the aluminum supply side reaches the upper limit, the downstream consumer side plays a supporting role in aluminum prices, and the subsequent aluminum prices are expected to maintain a high level of volatility.
As for Supply: The utilization rate of electrolytic aluminum capacity remains high, and the import of aluminum ingots remains high in January and February. The destocking of aluminum ingots in March is relatively optimistic and the inventory has dropped to 80 tons.
As for Demand: Overseas LME inventory destocking continues, and LME premiums and discounts fall; domestic inventory continues to destock, and the speed of inventory destocking will be closely monitored in the future.
