This week, the price of aluminum ingots has shown a downward trend, with a decrease of CNY 98/Mt compared to last week to CNY 20,218/Mt.
The production capacity of electrolytic aluminum continues to operate at an extremely high level, but due to a significant decline in the export side, the total demand for electrolytic aluminum has not yet recovered to an ideal state. The overall tight supply of bauxite in our country is gradually easing due to the replenishment of imported ores. The prices of bauxite have fallen and the cost support of alumina has weakened. It is in a pattern of strong supply and demand, continuing the trend of destocking. Currently, the inventory is 3.794 million tons, a decrease of 19000 tons compared to the previous period, and the inventory provides some support for the bottom of the price. The social inventory of aluminum ingots continued its destocking trend, falling to 508000 tons, a month on month decrease of 11000 tons. On June 4, 2025, a 50% tariff on steel and aluminum exports to the United States has already into effect. The demand side is affected by tariff sentiment, and aluminum prices are expected to remain volatile in the short term. The United States is about to impose tariffs on aircraft components, which will to some extent affect downstream demand for aluminum.

The lateral runout of all rollers of the coating machine must be controlled within the standard range, otherwise it will seriously affect the surface quality of the coating.
