On May 15, the price of SMM A00 aluminum rose by CNY 160/Mt to CNY 20,360/Mt compared with the previous trading day. Aluminum ingots are still in the destocking cycle and continue to destock slightly,the prices may fluctuate widely in the short term.

The United States will reduce the tariff on Chinese goods from 145% to 30% for 90 days and China will reduce the tariff rate on US goods from 125% to 10% for 90 days.
