SMM A00 Aluminum Ingot(CNY/mt)
On May 20, the price of SMM A00 aluminum drop by CNY 30/Mt to CNY 20,220/Mt compared with the previous trading day.Macroeconomic factors and low inventory levels provide support for aluminum prices. The arrival of aluminum ingots increased significantly over the weekend, resulting in a slight increase in inventory. Domestic aluminum ingot social inventory recorded 585,000 tons, an increase of 4,000 tons from last Thursday, and aluminum bar social inventory recorded 132,000 tons, a decrease of 7,000 tons from last week. The decline in the total inventory of aluminum ingots and aluminum bars slowed down, and the processing fee of aluminum bars fell slightly from the previous month yesterday.
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, in April 2025, China imported 20.68 million tons of bauxite ore and its concentrate, a month-on-month increase of 25.6% and a year-on-year increase of 45.4%. From January to April, the cumulative import volume reached 67.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 34.2%. At present, China's bauxite supply can support demand, but due to the interruption of bauxite supply in Guinea, it is difficult to see a low price quotation below US$70/ton in the short term. The quotations in some markets have risen sharply compared with the previous period, driving the SMM imported bauxite index to rebound, which will affect aluminum prices

Entry Looper
When it's time for the next coil to be painted,a stitch is made between the two coils,the line doesn't have to stop.When 2 pieces of aluminum coil come together,there's a dye coating in there joins them.In order to make a successful stitch,aluminum coil is run through a set of vertical rollers called accumulator tower moves up and down to feed the rest of line during a stitch.When the operator is making a stitch,only the entry section comes to a stop.The rest of line including accumulator tower will continue to run .After passing through the entry accumulator,the aluminum coil hits a set of steening roll make sure the coil is centered properly before entering the cleaning sections
Exit Looper
The working principle of the exit looper is the same as that of the entry looper. When the operator packs the finished color coated aluminum coil, only the exit part will stop and the rest of the production line including the accumulator tower will continue to run, leaving enough time for the operator to pack and ensure the continuous operation of the production line.
