Ensure the stability of paint quality
Confirm the color with the customer: Different customers have specific requirements and standards for the color of coated aluminum coils. After the customer confirms the color or receives the customer's sample, we send it to the paint supplier for making the sample. If the samples are within the standard color difference range after visual inspection by quality inspectors and tested by colorimeter, we will send samples to customers for color confirmation. When ordering paint, we calculate the required quantity of each color and order 10% more than the required quantity to avoid large color differences due to different paint batches.
Strict inspection of paint before storage: Hanchen Metal conducts strict factory inspection on each batch of paint to check whether its viscosity, density, solid content and other indicators meet the requirements to ensure the stability of the paint quality.

Ensure aluminum coil pretreatment meets requirements

Pretreatment is the key to ensure the uniformity of color of color coated aluminum coils. Hanchen usually uses fresh water to clean the dust and debris on the surface of the aluminum coil, then uses alkaline cleaning liquid to remove oil stains on the surface of the aluminum coil and finally uses acidic passivation liquid to treat the surface to form a uniform passivation film, so that the coated aluminum coil has better adhesion and more uniform color.
Strictly control the coating production process
Setting standard coating process parameters: Hanchen Metal will check and test the equipment before the processing of painted aluminum coils to determine the appropriate process parameters such as coating speed, roller pressure and coating viscosity to avoid improper settings of uneven coating and partial color difference of the colored aluminum coil coating
Controlling the curing process: The baking and curing process has an important influence on the color, thickness and coating performance. Hanchen Metal adopts the segmented baking process. According to the composition and characteristics of the coating, the baking temperature and time of different stages are set so that the coating can be evenly dried and cured, avoiding color difference caused by uneven coating thickness due to uneven baking.

Regularly clean the production workshop

Environmental factors may be one of the reasons for large color differences. Excessive dust and particulate matter in the production workshop may be integrated into the paint or coated aluminum coil surface during the production process, which may indirectly cause color differences. Therefore, Hanchen will regularly clean the production workshop every week to minimize the possibility of color differences.
Replace cooling water in time: During production, the cooling water should be properly overflowed to allow the condensed volatiles to overflow and remove in time to avoid color differences on the surface of the aluminum coil.
Regularly check and replace aging equipment: The curing furnace and gears, bearings of roller coating equipment directly affect the quality of color coated aluminum coils and need to be regularly checked and replaced in time. Hanchen Metal replaced a new curing furnace this year with more accurate temperature control, more uniform hot air circulation and make the coating colore more stable.
