Secondly, the plate and strip industry was mainly affected by environmental protection inspections. The downstream demand for aluminum continued to weaken, and the impact of environmental protection continued. Due to insufficient orders, some companies will stop production after New Year's Day and enter the Spring Festival holiday in advance. The subsequent downstream aluminum operating rate will continue to fall.
As for the stock: Entering the concentrated replenishment stage at the end of the year and before the festival, the performance of aluminum ingot out of warehouse is good. As of December 30, 2024, the social inventory of electrolytic aluminum in China's major markets was 473,000 tons, a decrease of 2,000 tons from 475,000 tons on December 26.
